  • I am currently holding Assistant Professor position in the Department of Ocean Engineering at IIT Madras. My research interest lies in the field of flow assurance, particularly in the domain of preventing wax deposition and hydrate formation during the transportation of oil and gas, chemical EOR and drilling fluid development.

  1. Awarded as TWA Energy Influencer 2023 by Society of Petroleum Engineers.
  2. Awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Award in Honor of Jefferson Creek by Flow Assurance Technical Section of SPE Internationals in recognition of the technical contribution in the Flow Assurance Discipline.
  3. Awarded Best Woman Performer in Research & Development Award in the International Inspirational Women Awards 2022 by GISR Foundation, India.
  4. Received Institute Gold Medal and Certificate of Merit for standing first in Master of Technology in Petroleum Engineering from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, India for 2014 – 16.
  5. Received L J Jhonson Gold Medal for being the Best Student of Master of Technology (Petroleum Engineering) for the session 2015-16 from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, India.
