3rd INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP
Numerical and Experimental Modelling of Wave -Structure Interaction

12-13 December

About The Workshop

About The Workshop

IIT Madras and City, University of London conducted the 1st Indo-UK Workshop in India during 2018, as part of the collaborative project funded by DST and UKIERI. Due to COVID, the second workshop was organised in virtual mode. In this online workshop, 16 international reputed speakers delivered lectures on different topics like coastal vegetation, wave energy device and its integration with coastal structures, sloshing, slamming, Large Scale experiments (from GWK) & its importance, SPH, Numerical modelling of helicopter ditching, Multi-scale hybrid modelling, LES in coastal hydrodynamics, etc.The second workshop had attracted 500+ registered international participants, resulting in a grand success in the narrow field of ocean engineering. Based on this success, we wish to continue the workshop this year through pCOE- Center For Large scale Ocean Research [CFLOR]. We wish to consider this as a flagship workshop for the center. In this workshop, the collaborators with this center are invited to provide a brief talk followed by their interaction with the students through presentation of their research work.
